Any director, officer, or other person,
holding any
share or capital in the Farmers Bank of Maryland,
who shall commit any fraud or embezzlement touching
the money or property, shall be liable to be prosecuted
by indictment, and on conviction shall, (besides
the remedy by action in the name of the president, &c.)
forfeit all his share of stock in the said bank to the
company,
—The Frederick-town Branch Bank of the Farmers
Bank to be governed by the same rules, &c.

Every person convicted of embezzling,
rasing, &c.
any will, patent, deed, &c. or record, or parcel
thereof,
within this state, whereby any right may be defeated,
to be confined in the penitentiary not less than
three nor more than seven years,
Every embracer, procuring a juror to
take gain or
profit for rendering his verdict, and every juror taking
such gain, on conviction to be confined in the penitentiary
not less than 1 nor more than 6 years, and to be
disqualified to serve on juries for ever thereafter,
Before the adoption of the constitution
of the United
States, and continuing inhabitants, entitled to hold
real estate, &c. See Citizens.
Emigrants since the adoption of the
said constitution,
and who had acquired lands or title thereto, and afterwards
become naturalized at the time of acquisition,
