Every person convicted of counterfeiting
the great
seal of the state, or the seal of any court, or any other
public seal, and using the same, &c. to be confined
in
the penitentiary not less than 5 nor more than 10
years,
—Every person convicted of forging and counterfeiting
any gold or silver coin within this state, or falsely
altering the same, or aiding therein, to be confined
in the penitentiary not less than 4 nor more than 10
years,
Every person engaged in engraving
false plates, or
affixing to bank notes false signatures, or furnishing
paper, or forging, altering or counterfeiting, any bank |
