            INDEX TO THE LAWS.

    When on appeal, it shall appear that the proper parties
have not been made, the court of appeals may reverse
the decree without prejudice to another bill, or
award a new trial, specifying in the order the parties to
be made,
—The decree to be made thereon not liable to reversal
for the want of any other parties that may be alleged,
    So much of the acts of 1798, ch. 101, and 1802, ch.
101, as relate to appeals from the orphans court to the
general court, court of chancery and county courts, repealed,
—But not to affect any appeal prayed before the
passage of this act,

    Of Anne-Arundel county—money to be levied for his
support,

    Of Baltimore—a lottery authorised for the benefit
of,
    Certain estates of deceased mariners, which would
have devolved on the free schools or the levy court,
to become the property of the said society,

    Of Annapolis, incorporated,
—Incorporated in Easton,

    In Cæcil county—A patent directed for, in trust for
the education of poor children, &c.
—The act of 1793, ch. 37, repealed,

    The trustees of the McDonough Charity School incorporated
in Charles county,
    The trustees of the Orphaline Charity School incorporated
in Baltimore,

    Of Saint Joseph's in Emmittsburgh, Frederick
county, incorporated, &c.

    The public road from Port Tobacco through the
Zachia Swamp to be repaired,
    Goats, hogs and geese, prevented from going at large
in Charles-town,
    Money to be levied for the support of E. Huntington,

   Provisions relating to the public roads,

    The road from Leonard-town, in St. Mary's county,
to Newport, in Charles county, to be straightened and
amended,
    Money to be levied for repairing the poor-house,
    The register of wills directed to keep his office at
the place of holding the county courts,
    Saint Mary's, Charles, and Prince-George's
counties, form the first judicial district,
    The county court to be held on the third Monday in
March and August,
    Saint Mary's, Charles and Calvert counties, form the
first district for electing representatives to congress,
    Saint Mary's, Charles, and the fifth election district
of Prince-George's county, form the first district for
choosing electors of the president and vice president,
    A road from the post road by B. Spalding's, to be
laid out to intersect the road from Port Tobacco to Piscataway,
    Provision made for transcribing certain land records,
    The destruction of crows encouraged,
    Money to be levied for the support of Catharine Johnson,
