CÆCIL COUNTY

            INDEX TO THE LAWS.

    A road to be laid out from the Fishery of M. McLeary,
on Susquehanna, to the road from Port Deposit to Wallace's
mill,
    A company incorporated to make turnpike roads
from Baltimore city to the Susquehanna bridge near
Rock Run, and thence to the Maryland line, and to
intersect the road from Havre de Grace to Williamsport,
&c.
    Penalty on persons erecting booths or selling liquor
within two miles of any Methodist Camp or Quarterly
Meeting,
    The name of Cæcil Cross Roads changed to Cæcilton,
    Money to be levied for the support of Ruth Moore,
and her children,
    A road to be laid out from the public road near
Evans's Farm, to intersect the road from Charles
Town to the Rising Sun,
—From the road leading from the Brick Meeting
House on the lower ferry, till it joins the road to Charles
Town, &c.
—From D. Patterson's lane, where it intersects the
road from Port Deposit to the Brick Meeting House,
to the road from Miller's mill to Charles Town,
—From J. Reynold's gate on the road from the
Rising Sun towards Charles-town, to intersect a road
to Port Deposit,
—From near G. Gale's mill race on the road from
the Brick Meeting House to the lower ferry, to intersect
the road therefrom to Battle Swamp, &c.
    The act of 1814, ch. 46, to lay out a road therein
mentioned, and its supplement, 1815, ch. 16, repealed,
    A lottery authorised for building a school house at
Cæcilton,
    The old post road from Gray's hill, to the Delaware
line, north of the turnpike road from Elkton to Christiana,
to be shut up,
    Allowance to the sheriff for keeping prisoners, &c.
increased,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from Elkton to the site of the proposed bridge near
Rock Run,
    A lottery authorised for building a Masonic Hall in
Elkton,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from the site of the Susquehanna bridge to the mouth
of Rock Run, &c. to intersect the Wilmington and
Newark turnpike road,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from the contemplated bridge over the Susquehanna,
at Conowingo creek, to the Pennsylvania line, &c.
    Provision made for the education of poor children,

    Commissioners of the school fund appointed,
    The Town's School in Elkton erected into an Academy,
    Real and personal property in Cæcil county to be revalued
and reassessed,
—No person therein whose property shall not be assessed
to the amount of $100 shall be liable for, or
chargeable with, any tax, assessment or charge, under
the act of 1812, ch. 191,
—Commissioners of the tax appointed,
    A market established for the sale of live stock at the
Rising Sun,
    Each judge of the orphans court allowed four dollars
for every days attendance,
    An old road in Elk Neck therein described to be kept
up as a public road,
