BALTIMORE COUNTY

            INDEX TO THE LAWS.

    The road from J. Croxall's point on Patapsco, till it
intersects the George-town road at Mrs. Carroll's
bridge, to be straightened, &c.
    A lottery authorised for purchasing a lot in Coxe's
town, and erecting thereon a school house and meeting
house,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from the District of Columbia to the city of Baltimore,
    A road to be laid out from Wilson's tavern on the old
York road, to intersect a road from Britain's mill,
    Additional provisions respecting the building of
the new gaol,
    A road to be laid out from the intersection of the road
from Gorsuch's mills with the Old York Road, to the
Baltimore and York Turnpike Road,
    Money to be levied for building a bridge over the
White Marsh Run, on the road from Belle-Air to the
city of Baltimore, and the commissioners authorised to
alter the road, &c.
    A road to be laid out from near N. Bosley's gate till
it intersects the Baltimore and York Turnpike Road,
    Money to be levied for repairing the public roads and
streets in the precincts of the city,
    A company incorporated for making an artificial road
from the Philadelphia and Lancaster Turnpike Road,
&c. to the Susquehanna Bridge, at McCall's Ferry, and
thence to the city of Baltimore,
—The act of Pennsylvania recited, declared a law of
this state,
—The appraisement of damages referred to, to be
made by the courts of Baltimore and Harford counties,
—The 4th section of the act of Maryland repealed,
    The road from the city of Baltimore to Goodwin and
Ridgely's mills to be straightened and amended,
 
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from the city of Baltimore to Havre de Grace,

    An act for turnpiking the road from Baltimore to Belle-Air,
&c.
    A road to be laid out from the Warren Manufactory
erecting on the Gunpowder Falls, to the York Turnpike
Road,
  A road to be laid out from the Stave Ford, on the Little
Gunpowder, to the city, and also a road from Amos's
or Baldwin's mill, on Little Gunpowder, to Long Green
Creek, &c.
—Other roads to be shut up if necessary,
    Indentures of convicts in the penitentiary, whose
time expires while they are under age, to be recorded
in the orphans court of Baltimore county,
    Money to be levied for the support of James Upton,
    Money to be levied for compensation to the sheriff for
keeping a night watch at the gaol, and for securing prisoners,
    The orphans court required to order the funds arising
from personal estates of persons dying intestate,
without legal representatives, to be paid to the free
schools in the city of Baltimore,
    A road to be made public from the mouth of S.
Owings's lane to intersect a road from R. Owings's
smith shop,

  A company incorporated for making certain roads
therein mentioned to Susquehanna, &c.
