ANNE-ARUNDEL
        COUNTY

 

            INDEX TO THE LAWS.

    Prince-George's and Anne-Arundel counties, including
the city of Annapolis, form the second district for
electing representatives in Congress,
    Part of Montgomery, Anne-Arundel county, and
the cities of Annapolis and Baltimore, form the third
district for choosing electors of the president and vice-president
of the United States,
—The third district entitled to two electors,
    A road to be laid out from Richard Higgin's farm,
on the head of South river, to a farm called Green
Spring Quarter,
    Money authorised to be levied in Anne-Arundel and
Prince-George's counties for building a bridge over
Patuxent river at Queen Anne,
    A road to be laid out from the Priest's bridge, to intersect
the great road from Annapolis to the Governor's
bridge,
    Provision made for the payment of jurymen through
the Farmer's Bank,
    A lottery authorised for making passable the road
from Annapolis to Washington, by Annacostia bridge,
    A Board of Agriculture established,
    Money to be levied for the support of Mary Connerly,
—For the support of Francis Rawlings,
—For the support of Jacob Penn,
    The road from Elk Ridge landing, by Owings's mills,
to be reviewed, &c.
    A road to be laid out from a point near Crow's mill,
to intersect the road from Montgomery court-house to
Baltimore, &c.
    Part of the road leading from R. Owings's mills to
Elk-Ridge Landing, to be altered,
    Money to be levied for the support of Azariah Phillips,
and Ninian Riggs,
    No person residing in Annapolis to have a vote in
Anne-Arundel county for delegates for the said county,
and the constitution, where repugnant to this alteration,
repealed,
    Money to be levied for the support of Elisha and
Achsah Porter,
    A turnpike road to be made from near Ellicott's
lower mills towards George-Town, in the District of
Columbia,
    The road to be reviewed and made public from T.
Richardson's, in Prince-George's county, by J. C.
Thomas's mill, on Patuxent, till it intersects the road
from Baltimore to Washington,
    A lottery authorised for repairing the Protestant
Episcopal Church in Annapolis,
    A lottery authorised for building a Church, for the
use of St. Margaret's Westminster Parish, in Anne-Arundel
county,
    A road to be laid out from W. Merriken's gate, on the
road from the Priest's Bridge, to intersect the road
from Annapolis to Cragg's ferry,
    Money to be levied for the support of Elizabeth Patterson,
—For the support of Patrick Dunn,
    Margaret and Harriet Hammond empowered to build
a wharf at Hammond's ferry,
    Money to be levied for the support of Califf Warfield,
—For the support of Robert A. Smith,
    A lottery authorised for opening and clearing the
road from Westminster, in Frederick county, to
George-Town, and Washington,
—The act of 1803, ch. 99, repealed,
    Money to be levied for the support of Clarissa Smith,
