An Act to confirm and make valid all the acts done by David Bowles,
    a Justice of the Peace for Frederick County.

His acts declared
valid and effectual.
    BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
all and every act done, performed or executed, by David Bowles, as a 
justice of the peace, of Frederick county, by virtue of his authority
under this state, and within the proper limits of his jurisdiction,
shall be and the same are declared valid and effectual, to all
intents and purposes, in the like manner as they would have been provided
the name of David Bowles had been inserted in the commissions
for justices of the peace for said county, issued by and under
the authority of the executive of this state, instead of that of David
Pawlas.

An Act repealing the fourth section of an act*, entitled, An act to incorporate
    a Company to make an Artificial Road by the nearest and
    best route from the Philadelphia and Lancaster Turnpike Road,
    through the Village of Strasburgh in Lancaster County, to the
    Susquehanna Bridge at McCall's Ferry, and from thence to the
    City of Baltimore.

Section repealed.     BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the fourth section of an act, entitled, An act to incorporate a company
to make an artificial road by the nearest and best route from
the Philadelphia and Lancaster turnpike road, through the village
of Strasburgh in Lancaster county, to the Susquehanna bridge at 
McCall's ferry, and from thence to the city of Baltimore, in the
words following to wit:  " And be it enacted, that in Maryland said
road shall proceed from the city or eastern precincts of the city of
Baltimore, and not from or over any other turnpike road," be and
the same is hereby repealed.
