CHAP. LXXXII.
An Act authorising the Levy Court of Worcester County to levy a
sum of money for the support of William Peacock, Worcester

Preamble. |
WHEREAS William Peacock, of Worcester county, by
his petition
to this general assembly has set forth, that he has lost one
of his legs, and is very poor, and praying that some relief may
be granted to him; and the facts stated in his petition appearing
true, therefore, |
Levy authorised
for his support. |
2. BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That
the justices of the levy court of Worcester county shall and they
are hereby empowered, at their levy court annually, so long as
they shall see cause, to assess and levy on the assessable property
of said county, a sum of money not exceeding thirty dollars, for
the support and maintenance of the said William Peacock, and
that the same be collected annually by the collector of Worcester
county, and by him paid to the said William Peacock, or his order. |

An Act for the relief of Mary Randal, of Prince-George's County.

BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the
levy court of Prince-George's county be and they are hereby authorised
and directed, to levy on the assessable property of said
county the sum of thirty dollars, for the support and maintenance
of Mary Randal, and that the said sum of thirty dollars be levied,
collected and paid, under the direction of the levy court, annually,
to the said Mary Randal, so long as she shall live. |
