agt the sd delinquent according to the sd Law &c. Ja: Sangster Cle. Indts
The said Thomas Roe shewing suffitient reasons for his delinquency was remitted. paying fees.


Their Majesties Somerset County Ssc. The Jurors for their Maties being sworne upon the holy
Evangelist
agt at a grand Jury held for the body of this County the second tuesday in 9ber last past
Christopher:Little doe present and find that Christopher Little of this County Planter being lawfully
- - - - - - - - - warned and having Suffitient notice from George Betts, Overseer of thier Maties
high wayes. for Mony hundred to attend and mend the sd high wayes in pursuance of an Act of Assembly in that
Case made, did willingly, wittingly and wilfully himself absent and therein prove a delinquent, without any
Colour
of Lawfull excuse, but in Contempt of the sd Law. Therefore their Maties Attorney Craves judgment may be entered

the said Christopher: Little for his delinquency according to Law &c. Ja. Sangster Clk Indts - - - - - - -

The above said Christopher Litle was fined two dayes worke & Ordered to pay Court Charges . - - -

judgment may be entered agt the sd delinquent according to Law in that Case made and provided

agt answer what should be objected agt him in Janry Court in behalfe of thir Maties
John: Fine ~ And whereupon their Maties Attorney Comes and sayes that the said John
- - - - - - - ffine deft at y house of John: Kirk of this County Planter, did barter, swap (for)
and bargain to and with one Charles: Gallaway a Run away and Servant to C
Lewes: Conner of Elizabeth River in the Collony of Virginia for one Boat of
about sixteen foot by the keel, stollen and carryed away from his said Master Conner the sd ffine never examining
the said Servant, but for an invaluable Consideration, which might have been Sufficient Suspition to have
