your Petitioner humbly intreats your worps not to fine your Petioner And your Petioner shall Pray

Wm: Morris. Defendt. And whereupon the plt by James:Sangster his Attorney comes and sayes that the

indebt
unto Coll. Charles Morrison of Eliz. Citty County in the Collony of Virginia in
the
full and just Sum of Six hundred twenty One pounds of good Mertable tobacco in Caske to be paid Convenient according to
the tenour of a Certain Instrument under the hand and Seal of the said deft and bearing date the day and year abovesd &
is here in Court produced, which sd Sum is now become the property of the sd plt pr Order of the sd Morrison and appeareth
under the hand of the sd Morrison dated the 9th. day of xber. AoDo. 1685 which sd Sum the plt did demand of the deft, and
upon the 10th. day of Nor. 1686. did faithfully assume and promise to pay the same, which sd assumption he hath Su--
