A bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1828, chapter
136, entitled an Act to incorporate the members of Christ.
Church as a separate congregation of the Protestant Episco-
pal Church of the United States.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Spencer, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
The Senate hill entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed at
the January Session of the General Assembly of Maryland,.
1870, chapter 114, entitled an Act to incorporate Towson-
town iu Baltimore county.
Which was read a second time.
Also, favorably,
The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 4 of an
Act passed by the General Assembly of Maryland at its
January Session, 1870, chapter 99, entitled an Act to lay off
streets in Baltimore county, adjoining Baltimore City, and to
repeal certain acts inconsistent therewith, and to re-enact the
.same with. amendments. .
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Wells, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Anne Arundel County to correct errors of assess-
ment on the property of Joseph O. Fowler, Jr.
Which was read a first time.
Also, reported unfavorably,
The Senate bill, entitled an Act to provide for the appoint-
ment of a Treasurer of Anne Arundel County, and to amend
and re-enact sections 82, 83, 84 and 195, of Article II., of
the Code of Public Local Laws for said county.
The report was adopted, and said bill returned to the Senate.
Mr. Linthicum, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
County Commissioners of Howard County to re-assess such
real estate in said county as in their discretion they may deem
proper.
