H., Cooper, Hamilton, C. R.) Jamart, Staylor, Stewart, dark, of B city, Colton, of B city, Kirk, Chaisty, Harig, Feig, McColgan, Markland, Young, or Washington, Ardinger, Newcomer, Whitson; Riggs, dark, of Mont., Coles, Young, of Alle., Robinette, Steele, Lamotte, L .A .J. , Lamotte, H. H., Linthicum, Johnson, Langrell—66. Mr. Row presented the petition of D. G. Adelsberger, and other citizens of Emmittsburg, asking the passage of an Act to incorporate a water company for Emmittsburg, in Frederick county. Which was read and referred to the Frederick delegation. Mr. Hardcastle presented the petition of Hiram W. Mc- Colley, to be exempted from Municipal taxation by the town of Greensboro', Caroline County, Maryland. Which was read and referred to a Select Committee con- sisting of Messrs. Hardcastle, Deweese and Ford, of Queen Anne's. Mr. L. A. J. Lamotte presented the petition of Billisipa Alien, widow of Lewis Alien, a soldier of the war of 1812, asking for a pension. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pensions. Mr. Wilmer presented the petition of James A. Pearce, and other citizens of Kent county, praying for the repeal of the law which gives jurisdiction to Justices of the Peace in said county in cases of assault, and battery. Which waa read and referred to the Committee on the Ju-diciary. |
