The petition of Elizabeth Arem, widow of Hugh, to be
.placed upon the State pension rolls, war of 1812.
Which were severally read and referred to the Committee
' on Pensions.
Mr. Streett presented the petition of Cassandra Amos,
asking for a pension.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
' sons.
Mr. Young, of Washington county, presented the petition
of Robert Askew, to be placed upon the State pension rolls,
war of 1812.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.
Mr. Litzinger presented the petition of John J. Yellott
and forty other citizens of Baltimore county, against any
modification of the present Sunday law.
Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
that subject.
Mr. dark, of Baltimore City, presented the petition of
Ferdinand Rever and five hundred and twenty osiers, against
the modification of the Sunday Law.
Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
that subject.
Mr. McColgan presented the petition of W. W. Maughlin
-and others, against the taxation of mortgages.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.
Mr Linthicum presented the petition of Anthony M. John-
son and twenty-seven others, f'or the passage of an Act pre-
venting cattle and swine running at large in the Second Elec-
tion District of Howard county.
Which was read and referred to a Select Committee,
.consisting of Messrs. Linthicum, German and Riggs.
Mr. Mearns presented the petition of George Gillespie,
-James M. Evans, Rev. S. A. Galey and others, praying the
.passage of an Act to prevent stock running at large oa the
public roads in the Sixth Election District of Cecil county.
