A communication from James Hyde, Esq;.Clerk to the
Second Branch of the City Council of Baltimore, covering
resolutions of that Body, earnestly requesting the representatives of the City of Baltimore, in the House of Delegates,
and the 'members, of the House generally, to use all honora-
ble means to secure the rejection of the bill which passed, the
Senate on Tuesday, March 12th, 1872) repealing the law ex-
empting mortgages from taxation.
