Which was read a first time, and referred do the Commit- tee on Ways and Means. Also, The bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35 and 36, of Article LVI, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Licenses," sub-title "Foreign Corporations and Companies," and to re-enact the same with amendments. Which was read a first time, and referred" to the Commit- tee on Ways and Means. Also, returned the following bill, Endorsed "Passed by yeas and nays." The bill, entitled an Act to repeal an Act, to repeal, amend and re-enact the Act entitled an Act to revive the Act of in- corporation of the town of Salisbury, in Somerset and Wor- cester counties, chapter 356, of Public Local Laws for Som- erset county, passed March 10th, 1864, and to add new sec- tions thereto, ratifying and confirming certain acts of the Commissioners of said town, and for other purposes, and the supplements thereto, and to enact an Act to incorporate the town of Salisbury, in Wicomico county. Also, delivered The bill, entitled an Act to incorporate the town of Cris-field, in Somerset county. Which was read a first time, and referred to the Commit- tee on Corporations. Also, returned, The bill, entitled an Act for the better protection of oys- ters, clams, terrapins and fish in Synapuxent Bay and its tributaries, in Worcester county, Also, The bill, entitled an Act to add an additional section to Article XX , of Public Local Laws, title "Washington Coun- ty," sub-title "Williamsport," to come in after section 131 of said Article, and to repeal section 132 of said Article, and to re-enact the same with amendments. Endorsed, "Reported unfavorably from a Select Commit- tee, and the report adopted Also, returned 17 56 |
