Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Also, The bill, entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with, an amendment, section 44, of Article XXIV., of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Conveyancing." Which, was read a first time and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Also, The bill, entitled an Act to pay O. O. Magruder, Jr., & sum of money due him for services rendered the State. Which was read a first time, and referred to the Commit- tee on Claims. Also, The bill, entitled, an Act to repeal section 82, of Article; X., of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Dorchester County," sub-title "Church Creek," denning the limits of the town of Church Creek, and to re-enact the same in an amended form. Which was read. a first time, and referred to the Dorehes- ter delegation. Also, The bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 24, of the Act of January Session, 1870, chapter 476, entitled an Act to provide for the creation and regulation of incorporated com- panies in the State of Maryland, and to re-enact the same with amendments, giving additional powers to railroad, com- panies incorporated by this State.
