Gentlemen, of the House of Delegates: We respectfully ask your Honorable Body to return to the Senate the House bill entitled an Act to exempt the second district of Baltimore county from the operation of the law prohibiting swine from running at large in said county. ' By order, AUGUSTUS GASSAWAY, Secretary. Which was read. Mr. Shipley submitted the following message: BY THE HOUSE OS DELEGATES, March 14th, 1872. Gentlemen of the Senate: We have received your message requesting the return of the bill entitled an Act to exempt the second district of Bal- timore county from the operation of the law prohibiting swine from running at large in said county, and herewith return the game to your Honorable Body. By order, MILTON Y. KIDD, Chief Clerk. Which was read, assented to and, together with the bill, sent to the Senate. The Secretary of the Senate returned the following bill: A bill, entitled an Act to repeal sections 7 and. 8 of Article LXXI. of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Oys- ters," as amended, and re-enacted by the Act of 1870, chap- ter 364, regulating the taking and catching oi oysters with rakes and tongs, and requiring a license therefor, and to re- enact the same so as to read as follows, Endorsed " passed by yeas and nays with proposed amend- ments." AMENDMENT PROPOSED. Section 7, lines 9 and 10, strike out the word "October" and insert '-June." The amendment was adopted, and, The bill, as amended, passed by yeas and nays, as fol- low:
