The Senate bill, entitled an Act supplementary to an Act
for the establishment of a school in Caroline county, passed
at November Session, in the year 1798, chapter 33.
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Smith, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 239, of Article X.,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Dorchester County,"
subtitle "fire," and to re-enact the same with amendments.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Duvall, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act for the relief of Mrs. Marcia
O'Hara, and the heirs of the late Isaac Mayo, deceased, from
erroneous assessment of their property, and to refund taxes
paid in error.
Which was read a first time.
Also, favorably,
The Senate bill, entitled an Act to amend and re-enact the
sixth section of the Act of 1819, chapter 192, entitled an
Act to provide tor maintaining and keeping in repair the
public roads of Anne Arundel county, and to repeal the Act
passed at January Session, 1868, chapter 299, so far as the
same applies to Anne Arundel county.
Which was read a second time.
Mr, Baldwin submitted the following message:
BY THE HOUSE OS DELEGATES,
March 13th, 18T2.
Gentlemen, of the Senate:
We respectfully ask your Honorable Body to return to this
House, Senate bill, entitled an Act to more particularly define
the powers and duties of the County Commissioners of Har-
ford county in adjusting and levying for claims preferred.
against said county.
