Hopkins, James 8. Franklin and John Turnbull, Jr., &
Company.
Also,
The bill entitled 'an Act to amend the charter of the Con-
tinental Fire and Marine Insurance Company of Baltimore,
to change the corporate name, and to cure certain irregular-
ities in the original organization thereof.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to
Article LXXXI. of the Code of Public General Laws of
this State, title "Revenue and Taxes," under the sub-title
"Assessment of Stock for State Purposes."
Also, returned the following bills:
Severally endorsed, "Reported unfavorably from the Com-
mittee on Finance, and the report adopted."
The bill entitled an Act to provide for a new assessment
of the property of the Free Stone Mining and Manufactur-
ing Company of Montgomery county.
Also,
A bill, entitled an Act to exempt the Second Election Dis-
trict of Baltimore county from the operation of chapter 265
of the Code of Public Local Laws, passed January Session,
18*70, relating to swine running at large.
The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following mes-
sage :
BY THE Senate, i,
March 13th, 1872.
Gentlemen, of the House of Delegates :
"We have received your message requesting the return of
the Senate bill, entitled "an Act to more particularly define
the .powers and duties of the County Commissioners of Har-
ford county, in adjusting and levying tor claims against said
county," and concur therein, and herewith return the same.
