Said. Dill was then sent to the Senate.
The House then proceeded to the consideration of bills
entitled to a second, reading.
The bill, entitled an Act to amend an Act passed at Jan-
uary Session, 187®, chapter LXXX., entitled an Act to in-
corporate the Baltimore and Potomac Railroad Company,
Being upon a second reading,
On motion of Mr. Foster,
The further consideration thereof was postponed, and
The bill recommitted to the Committee on Corporations.
The bill, entitled an Act to incorporate the town of Keedys-ville Washington county,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill, entitled an Act to repeal sections 33 and 34, of
chapter 864, of Acts passed January Session. 1870, title
"Oysters' and to re-enact the following in lieu thereof,
changing the style of the Oyster Police Board, and making
Commissioner of the Land Office one of said Board,
Being upon a second reading,
Mr. Dougherty moved that the further consideration thereof
be postponed, and the bill referred to the Committee on the
Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.
The question recurring upon concurring in the motion,
Mr. Kirk demanded the previous question,
The question then being,
"Shall the main question be now put?"
It was decided in the affirmative.
The question then recurring upon concurring in the
motion submitted by Mr. Dougherty,
Mr. Bond demanded the yeas and nays.
The demand being sustained,
The yeas and nays ware called and appeared as follows;
