So the motion to refer the bill to the Committee on the
Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries,

The bill was then read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
The Secretary of the Senate returned, the following bill:
A bill, entitled an Act to enable or advise the County
Commissioners of Allegany county, under Article 1. of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Allegany County," under
the head of "County Commissioners," to appoint a County
Treasurer to receive and disburse the county taxes, under
their orders, by adding after section 20 of said Article I. the
following sub-sections thereto,
Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays with proposed amend-
ments.
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Section 6, line 15, after the word "paid," strike out all to
the word "to," in line 19.
The amendment was adopted, and
