1872 OF THE HO TOE OF DELEGATES 779
The bill, entitled an Act for the better protection of land
owners bordering upon the Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries,
Reported back the same favorably.
The rules being suspended, said bill was then read a second
time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
Mr. Stone, Chairman of the Committee on Ways and
Means, reported favorably
A bill, entitled an Act to appropriate the sum of ten thou-
sand dollars, or as much thereof as may be necessary, to
repair the State Tobacco Warehouses in Baltimore City.
Which was read a first time.
Also, favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to regulate the taxation of Coal
Mining Companies of this State for State purposes.
Which was read a first time.
Also, favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to exempt Telasco Tribe, No. 46,
Independent Order of Bed Men of Baltimore City, from City
taxation.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Foster, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably
A bill, entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments, an Act of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed
at the January Session, in the year 1868, chapter 334, ap-
proved March 30th, 1868, entitled an Act supplementary and
amendatory of an Act passed at the present Session of the
'Legislature of Maryland, entitled an Act to amend the char-
ter of the Cumberland and Pennsylvania Railroad Company,
passed at January Session, 1849, chapter 469.
Which was read a first time, and
On motion of Mr. Griswold,
Was ordered to be printed.
Also, favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to amend the charter of the Chesapeake Warehouse Company of Baltimore City.
Which was read a first time.
