Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel Delegation to in-
troduce a bill, providing for the payment of all expenses in-
curred by those citizens of Anne Arundel county, who are1
registers and judges of election, and have been indicted in the
United States District Court for Maryland, for alleged viola-
tions of the Enforcement Act, in responding to the process of
said Court, and in the trial of their several cases,
On motion of Mr. Miller,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to introduce a bill, entitled an Act authorizing the Governor-
to appoint an additional Magistrate in Frederick district, in
Frederick county, and also an additional Magistrate in New
Market district, of said county.
On motion of Mr. Streett,
Leave was granted to the Harford delegation to introduce a bill to amend the charter of the Maryland Central Rail-
road.
On motion of Mr. Griswold, (the rules being suspended,)-
The House proceeded to the consideration of the unfavora-
ble report of the. Committee on the Judiciary, upon
The Senate bill* entitled an Act-to amend and re-enact
section 21, AS Article T., Code of Public General Laws, title;
"Appeals,"
Which had been adopted by the House on the 8th inst.
On motion of Mr. Griswold,
The vote by which said report had been adopted,
Was reconsidered.
The question then recurring upon the adoption of the un-favorable report of the Committee,
On motion of Mr. Griswold,
It was non-concurred in, and
The bill recommitted to the Committee on the Judiciary",
On motion of Mr. Griswold, (the rules being suspended
The House proceeded, to the consideration of the unfavora-

section 8, of Article V., of the Code of Public General Law?,,
