The vote by which the unfavorable report was adopted,
Was reconsidered.
The question then recurring upon the adoption of the un-
favorable report of the Committee,
On motion of Mr. Griswold,
The unfavorable report was non-concurred in, and
The bill recommitted to the Committee on the Judiciary.
Mr. Griswold, Chairman of the Committee on the Judi-
ciary, reported favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to amend Article X. of the Code of
Public General Laws, relating to attachments, by adding
thereto a section prescribing certain notice to be gives to
garnishees at the time of serving the same.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Streett, from the Committee on the Judiciary, reported
favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 2, of Article XXX.
of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Crimes and Pun-
ishments," sub-title "Defaulters," added to said Article by
an Act, entitled an Act to add an additional section to Arti-
cle XXX. of the Code of Public General laws, title "Crimes
and Punishments," approved April 4th, 1870, and to re-enact
the same with amendments.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Langrell, front the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to incorporate the Trustees of the
Parsonage Property of Princess Anne Circuit of the Metho-
dist Episcopal Church.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Colton, of Baltimore City, Chairman of the Commit-
tee on Claims, reported favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
Sly the claims of Bartlett, .Robbing & Co., Levin Woolford,
Michael & Bro., Gushing & Medairy, Thomas H. Kemp,
James A. Pearce, Daniel Caulk, E. P. Prettyman, W. A.
Page, J. J. Stuart & Co., John Murphy & Co., and J. E.
Hayden.
Which was read a first time,
Mr. Streett, Chairman of a Select Committee, submitted
