On motion of Mr. Duvall,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to authorize the County Commissioners of
Anne Arundel county, to review the assessment of the real
state of Charles R. Duvall, trustee for Mary C. Duvall,
lying in said county, from the year 1867, to the year 1871,
both inclusive, and correct any errors therein.
On motion of Mr. Groome,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations, to
introduce a bill to amend Article VIII., of the Public Local
Laws, title Cecil County, sub-title "Elkton."
On motion of Mr. Parker,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Parker, Franklin, and John-
son, to introduce a bill regulating fences in Atkinson's Elec-
tion District, Worcester county.
On motion of Mr. Clark, of Montgomery,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations, to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Boundary
and Silver Spring Railway Company.
On motion of Mr. Ford, of Queen Anne's,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Pensions to in-
troduce a bill to repeal the Act of 1870, chapter 477, en-
titled an Act to repeal the Act of 1867, chapter 385, which
provides for paying pensions to the Maryland soldiers of the
war of 1812, and to the widows of deceased soldiers of that
war, and also to repeal the Act of 1868, chapter 432, pro-
viding pensions for certain soldiers and widows of (soldiers of
the war of 1812, and to provide in lieu thereof for allowing
pensions to certain soldiers and widows of soldiers of the war
of 1812.
On motion of Mr. Vickers,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to authorize the County Commissioners of
Dorchester county, if they, in their judgment, so determine,
to reassess the farm of Charles T. Ralph, purchased of Eliza-
beth Ball, lying in District No. 3, in said county.
On motion of Mr. Groome,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Groome, Stone, Kirk, Tur-
ner, Linthicum, Parker and Miller to introduce a bill to re-
peal sections from 82 to 87 both inclusive, of Article XI., of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Frederick County,"
sub-title "Frederick," and to enact other sections in lieu
thereof.
