1872.] OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES.; TOT Mr. Groome present the petition of W. O. Rombo, and thirty-two other citizens, residents of Elkton, for a change in the charter of said town. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Corporations. Mr. Staylor presented the following order : Ordered, That when this House adjourns to-day, it stand, adjourned until Monday next, at 11 o'clock, A. M. Which was read. The question recurring upon the adoption of the order, Mr. Groome demanded the yeas and nays. The demand being sustained, The yeas and nays were called and appeared, as follows ; AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. Groome, Stewart, Polk, Mearns, ' dark, ofB. city, Linthicum, Penington, Kirk, Johnson—47 Scott, Chaisty, So the order was not adopted. Mr. Coles submitted the following order : Ordered, That it Be entered on the Journal, that Mr-Robinette is detained from his seat by sickness. Which was adopted.
