The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2, of chapter 187,
of the Acts or 1868, entitled "an Act to incorporate the
Broadway and Locust Point Steam Ferry Company of Mary-
land," and to grant, on certain conditions, the right to use
the wharf, known as the County Wharf, and to repeal an
Act entitled a supplement to said Act, passed at January
Session, 1878, chapter 436, so far as the same apply to the
use and occupation of the said County Wharf, and to provide
for the extension and improvement of said County Wharf, and
the reservation of the same, exclusively for the landing of
such fruits, vegetables and other agricultural productions, as
may be brought from the counties of the State, to the City
of Baltimore, for sale or otherwise.
The question recurring upon the adoption of the unfavor-
able report of the Committee,
Mr. Henkle moved to substitute the bill for the unfavorable
report of the Committee.
Pending which,
The hour of 3 o'clock having arrived, the House took a
recess until 8 o'clock this P. M.
