Fahmey, and one hundred others, asking for a law to prohibit the sale of intoxicating liquors within two miles of Fahmey's Meeting-house. Broaden, and fifty-six other colored men, asking for some law to promote the educational interest of our colored population. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Edu- cation. Mr, Spencer presented the petition of citizens of Baltimore county, for-the forfeiture of the charter of the " Falls Turn- pike Road," for violation of the same. Which, was read and referred to the Baltimore county dele- gation. Mr. Ardinger presented the petition of Elizabeth Harrigan, .asking for a pension. Also, The petition of Jacob Seavolt, asking for a pension. Which were severally read and referred to the Committee on Pensions. Mr. Smith presented the petition of Telitha L. Wheatley and Samuel Higgins, two of the County Commissioners for Dorchester county, praying for a repeal of Public General Laws relating to the publication of county expenses in said county.
