The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2, of Article-
XXXVII., of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to
the competency of witnesses and the examination of parties,
as amended by the Act of 1868, chapter 116, and to re-enact
the same with amendments, relating to the competency of
witnesses and the examination of parties,

stock of the Liberty, Johnsville and Pipe Creek Turnpike
Road Company, the Liberty and New Windsor Turnpike
Road Company, the Frederick and Buckeystown Turnpike
Road Company, in Frederick county, and such other turnpike
road companies whose roads have heretofore been constructed
or are now in process of construction in said county,
