Which was adopted.
Mr. Young, of Washington, submitted the following order:
Ordered, That Mr. Linthicum be excused from attendance
on the sessions of this House until Wednesday next.
Which was adopted.
Mr. Baldwin submitted the following order :
Ordered, That it be entered upon the Journal that Mr
Riley is absent from his seat by an order of this House.
Which way adopted.
Mr. Bond submitted the following order :
Ordered, That Dr. Sparrow be granted leave of absence-
until next Friday.
Which was adopted.
On motion of Mr. dark, of Baltimore City,
Leave was granted, to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to repeal section 14, of the Act passed April
4th, 1870, entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore and
Hall's Springs Railway Company, and to re-enact the same
with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Franklin,
Leave was granted to the Committee en the Judiciary to
introduce a bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 101, of Ar-
ticle XXVIII., of the Code of Public General Laws, relating
to draining lands, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments,
On motion of Mr. Steele,
Leave was granted to the Carroll delegation to introduce
a bill to incorporate the New Windsor Town Hall Company,
in the town of New Windsor, Carrol 1 county,
On motion of Mr. Roomette,
Leave was granted to the Allegany delegation to introduce
a bill to repeal section 69, of Article I., of the Public Local
Laws of Allegany county, entitled "Fences," and to re-enact
the game with amendments.
On motion of Mr. dark, of Montgomery,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means
to introduce a bill, entitled an Act to provide for a new as-asessment of the property of the Free Stone Mining and Man-
ufacturing Company of Montgomery county.
