Mr. Parker presented the petition of Thomas C. Pruitt, and fifty-two other citizens of Worcester county, Maryland, playing for protection of oysters in Synepuxent Bay. Which was read and referred to a Select Committee, con- -sisting of Messrs. Parker, Franklin and Johnson. Mr dark, of Montgomery, presented the petition of Wm. 'H. Manakee, and other citizens of Montgomery county, pray- ing that the County Commissioners of said county be au- thorized to hear testimony, and re-assess the real estate of the said Wm. H Manakee. Which was read and referred to the Montgomery dele- gation. Mr. Linthicum presented a petition from Lawson Biddle, asking for pension. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen- -sions.
