A bill, entitled an Act to incorporate the Phoenix Manufac-
turing Company of Baltimore county;
Which was read a first time.
Also, favorably,
The Senate bill, entitled a supplement to the Act entitled
an Act to incorporate the Franklin Savings Bank of Freder-
ick, passed January Session, 1856, chapter 329, repealing the
fifth section thereof, and re enacting the same with amend-
ments.
Which was read a second time.
Also favorably,
The Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal sections 111 and
121, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany county,
relating to the town of Oakland, in said county, and to sub-
stitute in lieu of sections 117 and 121, the following.
Which was read a second time.
Also, favorably,
The Senate bill, entitled an Act to amend an Act to incor-
porate the Baltimore Yearly Meeting of the Society of
friends, held on Lombard street, in the City of Baltimore,
Passed March the fourth, eighteen hundred and sixty-seven,
by adding an additional section thereto.
Which was read a second time.
Also, favorably,
The Senate hill, entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to the Public Local Laws of Allegany county, and to
repeal sections 24, 25 and 26 thereof, and to re-enact the
same with amendments, to read as follows.
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Smith, Acting Chairman of the Committee on the
Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries, reported favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to repeal sections 7 and 8, of Ar-
ticle LXXI., of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Oysters," as amended and re-enacted by the Act of 1870,
chapter 364, regulating the taking and catching of oysters
with rakes and tongs, and requiring a license therefor, and
to re-enact the same to read as follows.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Smith, Acting Chairman of the Committee on the
Chesapeake Bay and its Tiibutturies, reported unfavorably,
A bill, entitled an Act for the preservation of fish in the
waters of the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries, and
