On motion of Mr. Stewart,
The unfavorable report of the Committee was non-con-
curred in.
The bill was then read a first time, and
On motion of Mr. Stewart,
The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill made the order of the day for Friday, 23d instant.
Mr. Travers, Chairman of the Committee on Inspections,
reported favorably from a majority of said Committee,
A bill, entitled an Act to provide for the inspection or
guano, and all artificially manufactured or manipulated, far
sale in the City of Baltimore.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Colton, of Baltimore City, Chairman of the Commit-
tee on Claims, reported favorably
A bill, entitled an Act to refund Charles C. Hill, of Prince
George's county, moneys erroneously paid by him to Inspec-
tors of Tobacco in Baltimore City for outage and storage.
Which was read a first time.
Also, reported favorably,
The Senate bill. entitled an Act to release the sureties on the
official bonds of Charles Parker, Collector of State taxes for
Worcester county, for the yyais 1866 and 1867.
Which was read a second time.
Also, favorably,
The Senate bili.entitled an Act to pay ;Summerville Sollers,
Clerk of the Circuit Court for Culvert county}, for fees due
him by the State, also for compensation for services rendered
by him at the instance of the Comptroller of the Treasury,
and for commissions on certain money paid by him into the
Treasury.
Which was read a second time.
Also, favorably,
The Senate bill, entitled an Act to refund Benjamin Q.
Hearn, of Wicomico county, the sum of thirty dollars and
sixty cents, for money erroneously paid by him into the Trea-
sury.
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Young, Acting Chairman of the Committee on Corporations reported favorably
