We have named on the part of the House Messrs. Henkle,
Clark, of Baltimore City, Turner, Vickers and Miller.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the Senate.
Mr. Turner submitted the following message :
By THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,
January 11th,1872.
Gentlemen of the Senate :
We propose, with the concurrence of your Honorable
Body, the appointment of a Joint Special Committee, to con-
sist of three members on the part of the Senate and five on
the part of the House, to visit and examine the various in-
stitutions which are beneficiaries of the State, and report
upon the condition and needs of the same to this General
Assembly. We have named on the part of the House, Messrs.
Which was rejected.
Mr. Travers submitted the following order :
Ordered, That the Librarian furnish to the members and
officers of the House of Delegates the same articles of
stationery as furnished at the last Session, not (o exceed the
amount limited by law, if required.
Which was adopted.
Mr. Eareckson submitted the following order:
Ordered, That the Librarian be directed to furnish each
Delegation of this House with one copy of the laws passed at
the last Session; said copies to be returned at the end of
this Session.
Which was adopted.
Mr. Henkle submitted the following order :
Ordered, That the Chief Clerk of the House be directed to
make such alterations in the windows of the Hall as may be
necessary for the comfort and health of the members.
Which was adopted.
Mr. Harig submitted the following order :
Ordered, That 5,000 copies of the Inaugural Address of
Governor Whyte be printed for the use of this House.
Which was read, and referred to the Committee on Print-
ing.
