Which was read a. first time.
The Secretary of the. Senate delivered the following bills,
severally endorsed "Passed by yeas and nays:"
A bill, entitled an Act to authorize the County Commissioners of Calvert county to subscribe to the capital stock 6F
the Baltimore and Drum Point Railroad Company.
Which was read a first time and referred to a Select Com-mittee, consisting of Messrs. Bond, Sparrow and Duvall.
Also,
A bill, entitled an Act to amend Article XCVIII., of the
Code of Public General Laws, title " Wild Fowl," by add-
ing an additional section thereto, allowing the shooting of
Water-fowl from sink-boats within the limits of Dorchester
county, on certain day? in each week.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on the Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.
Also, returned the following House bill, endorsed "Passed
by yeas and nays,"
The bill, entitled an Act to authorize Louisa M. Rial to
settle her account as guardian to Albert Rial, and deliver
over the estate to said ward.
Also, returned the House bill entitled an Act to provide
for an interpreter in the Orphans' Court of Baltimore City,
endorsed "Reported unfavorably from a Select Committee,
and report adopted,"
Also, returned the following House bill, endorsed' "Passed
by yeas and nays,"
The bill, entitled an Act for the relief of the sureties on
the bonds of Stephen R. Gore, late collector of county taxes
in Carroll county.
Also, delivered the following bills,
Severally endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."
A bill, entitled an Act to exempt all that portion of the
waters of the Chesapeake Bay lying northward of a certain
line described from the the operation and effect of sections 1
and 3, of Article XCVIII. of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Wild Fowl," and to enact other sections, to be
in force and operate on and over said waters.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-tee on the Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.
