Mr. Banks presented the memorial of citizens of the Twelfth
.District of Baltimore county, praying the Legislature to com-
' -pensate John Fuller for damages done by a mob.
Which was rend and referred Co the Committee on Claims.
Mr. Porter presented the petition of Gen. A. Pearre and
one hundred and fifty others, asking the passage of a. General
Law to authorize the legal voters of any ward or district to
determine by ballot whether liquor shall be sold in said ward
or district.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.
Mr Streett. presented the petition of James M. Jacobs, and
fifty other citiz ns of Harford county, asking; that the capital
-stock and property of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad company he subjected to taxation.

The petition of Thomas Amos, and fifteen other ' citizens
of Harford county, asking that a pension be granted to Han-
nah Slade, widow of James W. blade, a soldier of the war of
