After some lime passed in Committee of the Whole House,
the House resumed its Session, when the Committee of the
Whole, through Mr. Chapman, Chairman, submitted the
following
REPORT.
The Committee of the Whole House, having had under
consideration House bill, No. 9, entitled, "an Act to repeal
Sections 82, 83, 84, 85, 87 and 89, as amended by Act of
1862> chapter 55, and the section 94, of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Frederick county, relating to the
Mayor, Aldermen and Common Council of Frederick city,
and re-enact substitutes therefor," to which a substitute
entitled, "an Act to provide for the legislation of the
voters living within the corporate limits of Frederick city,
and to authorize the Governor to appoint a Register of
such voters, and to extend the term of office of the present
Board, of Common Council until their successors have been
duly elected and qualified, and to provide lor an election on
the first Monday of April next, for officers to be elected un-
der the charter of. said city," has been offered, and have di-
rected me to report to this House that the Committee have
come to no resolution thereon.

Which was read.
Mr. dark, of Baltimore City, (the rules being suspended)
submitted the following order:
Ordered, That the Comptroller furnish to this House a
statement of alt the appropriations made by the Legislature
to the Hospital for the Insane.
Which was adopted.
On motion of Mr. Banks,
At 3 o'clock, P. M., the House adjourned.
