On motion of Mr. Chapman,
The vote by which the bill was passed -was reconsidered.
The bill then being upon its passage.
Mr. Chapman (by unanimous consent) submitted the fol-
low amendment:
Insert the-following as section 1:
"Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the following Article, le^uiaiiu the inspection of tobacco,
Tie added to the Code of Public General Laws."
Which was adopted.
Mr. Chapman submitted the following amendment:
Make the sections of present bill to read "sub-section 1, 2,
3, and so on, to section 33, inclusive, and present section 34
to read section 2."
Which were severally adopted,
The bill, as amended, was then ordered to be engrossed,
and, having been engrossed,
