Which was rejected. Mr. Foard, of Baltimore County, submitted the following order: Ordered, That Mr. Shipley have leave of absence for three days, to attend the funeral of a near relative. Which was adopted. Mr. Baldwin submitted the following order: Ordered, That the daily meeting of this House be at 12 o'clock, until otherwise ordered. Which was adopted. Mr. Butler submitted the following order: Ordered, That it be entered upon the Journal, that Mr. Goldsborough, of Talbot, is absent from his seat on account of sickness. Which was adopted. Mr. Ohaisty submitted the following order : Ordered, That it be entered upon the Journal that the mem- ber from Baltimore City, Mr. Staylor, was unavoidably ab- sent from the Session of the House on Tuesday, January 9th. Which was adopted. Mr. Colton, of Baltimore City, submitted the following order: Ordered, That leave of absence be granted Messrs. Stone -and Chapman till Tuesday next, Which was adopted.
