B., Jamart, Foster, Staylor, Stew- art, Travers, Clark, of Bait. city, Colton, of Bait. city, Kirk, Chaisty, Harig, Feig, McColgan, Markland, Griswold, Young, of Wash. co., Ardinger, Newcomer, Whitson, Hilton, Riggs, dark, of Mont , Porter, Coles,, Young, of Alle., Robinette, Steele, Lamotte, L A. J., Polk, Lamotte, H. H., Linthicum, Johnson, Langrell—80. The Speaker appointed George W. Murdock, Hallkeeper, and John V. Lowe, of Talbot, and George M. Murray, of Anne Arundel, additional officers of the House, who respec- tively appeared, qualified and entered upon the discharge of their duties. Mr. Griswold presented the petition of Henry O'Oonnell, of Baltimore City, asking compensation for rent of premises occupied as an armory. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Militia. Mr. Foard, of Bait. county, presented the petition of Balti- more College of Dental Surgery, asking for an appropriation to aid in erectinga suitable building for their occupancy, etc. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. Mr. Newcomer presented the petition of B.Sneary, and oth- ers of Washington county, asking the repeal of the Act of 1870, chapter 222, relating to the appointment; of County Treasurer and Collectors for the several districts in said county. Which was read and referred to the Washington county delegation. Mr Griswold presented the petition of Daniel M. Thomas for compensation as attorney employed by the counsel of the |
