The bill, entitled an Act to repeal sections 25 and 26 of Article XVI. of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to "Chancery," and to re-enact the same with amendments, Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. The bill, entitled an Act to repeal an Act, entitled an Act to amend Article XVI , of the Code of Public General Laws, by adding thereto the following sections, relating to Inspec- tions, passed at a Special Session of the General Assembly, held at Frederick, April the 26th, 1861, and to enact a sub- stitute therefor, Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. The bill, entitled an Act to repeal sections 7, 8; 9, 10 and 11, of Article LXXI., of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Oysters," regulating the taking and catching of oysters with rakes or tongs, and requiring the issuing of licenses therefor, Being upon a second reading, On motion of Mr. Griswold, The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the bill made the order of the day for Thursday, 15th instant, at 1 O'clock, P. M. Mr. Banks, (the rules being suspended) submitted the fol- lowing order: Ordered, That the use of this Hall be allowed to the Com- mittee appointed by the Democracy of Frederick city, this evening, at 8 o'clock, for the purpose of presenting to the members of 'he General Assembly, the views of the Democrats of Frederick upon the bill now pending before the House for re-distr icting Frederick, and tor a registry law therefor. Which was adopted. On motion of Mr. Kirk, At 8 o'clock, P. M., the House adjourned. |
