The bill entitled an Act to repeal section three, of Article-
11. of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Attorneys-
at-Law and Attorneys in Fact," and to re-enact the same
with an amendment,
' Being upon a second reading,
Mr. Groome submitted the following amendment:
Section 3, line 1, strike out the word "free" before the-
word "white."
Which was adopted.
The bill, as amended, was then read a second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
The bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 1, of Article
LXVII. of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to No-
taries Public, and re-enact the same so as to read as follows,
