Aldermen and Common Council of Frederick, to follow section 167, added thereto by the Act of 1870, chapter 314, and asked to be discharged from the further consideration of the same, and that said bill be referred to the Frederick delegation, and that the Committee be discharged. from fur- ther consideration thereof. ' The Committee was discharged and the bill so referred. Mr. Clark, of Montgomery, Chairman of a Select Com-mittee. reported favorably, A bill, entitled an Act to authorize the Clerk for Mont- gomery county to place certain fees in the hands of the Sher- iff of the severall counties of this State and. the City of Bal- timore for collecting. Which was read a first time. Mr. Radcliffe, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported favorably, A hill, entitled air Act to repeal chapter 441, of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at January Session, 1870. Which, was read a first time. Also, A bill, entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact, with amend- ments, Article XXXVIII, section 1, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Fees of Officers," and to re-enact the same with Amendments. Which was read a first time. Mr. Roach, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported favorably, A bill, entitled an Act to add the following sections to Article XIX. of the Code of Public Local Laws of Somerset county, sub-title " Retailers," and to be sections 149, 150, L 151,152, 153, 154,155, 156, 157 and 158. T Which was read a first time. :, Mr. Baldwin, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported favorably, The Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal, amend and re-elect section T, of Article XII. of the Code of Public Local -Law's, title "Harford County," sub-title "Almshouse."
