1872 OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES. 371 A bill, entitled an Act to incorporate Liberty, in Frederick county. Which was read a first time. Also, favorably, A bill. entitled an Act to prevent swine from running at large in the streets, lanes and alleys contingent to Burkittsville, in Frederick county. Which was read a first time. Mr. Porter, Chairman of a Select Committee, to whom was referred The bill, entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-missioners of Allegany county to correct the charges and as-essment of property of Curtin M. Graham and Sarah Wright, and have the same properly valued and entered IB books of valuation and assessment of property in Alle- gany county, and to refund taxes paid twice on any property of either, or both of them, for any year since the last general assessment, Reported the same favorably. Said bill was then read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. Mr. Shipley, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported favorably A bill, entitled an Act to exempt the Second Election Dis- trict of Baltimore county from the operation of chapter 265 of the Public Local Laws, passed January Session, 1870, re- lating to swine running at large. Which, was read a first time. Mr. Shipley moved that the bill he real a second time this day, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution, Article III., section 27. The yeas and nays were called and appeared as follow:
