The bill, entitled an Act to authorize the Trustees of the
Methodist Protestant Church in Salisbury to sell and convey
certain property belonging to them.
Said bill being upon a third reading,
On motion of Mr. Chiton, of Baltimore City,
The vote by which said bill was ordered to a third reading
was reconsidered.
The bill then being upon a second reading,
Mr. Johnson submitted the following amendment;
AMENDMENT PROPOSED :
Section 3. And be it enacted, That the Trustees aforesaid
be, and they are hereby authorized and empowered to sell the
Methodist Protestant Parsonage propel ty, situate in that
part of Salisbury town known as Camden, and to give a good
and sufficient title to the same in fee.
Which was adopted
Mr. Johnson submitted the following amendment:
Make present section 3 to read, (< Section 4." *
Which was adopted.
The bill, as amended, was then read a second time and or
dered to be engrossed for a thud reading.
The Speaker laid before the House the following report of
the Library Committee, appointed by the Act of 1870, chap-
ter 272 :

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Library.
Mr. Chapman (the rules being suspended) submitted the.
following order.
Ordered, That five hundred copies of the report' of the committee appointed by the Act of 1870, chapter 272, to exa-
mine into the condition of the Library ami make certain
changes therein, be printed for the use of the members of
the General Assembly.
Which was adopted.
On motion of Mr. L. A. J. Lamotte, (the rules being sus"
pended),
The House proceeded to the consideration of the Senate bill,,
entitled an Act {passed at January Session, 1858, chapter 40,,
