Which were severally read and referred to the Prince
"George's delegation,
Mr. Young", of Allegany, presented the petition of W, E.
'Warren and one hand ed and twenty-six other citizens oF
Allegany county, asking for a reduction of charges for tolls
-and transportation on the Cumberland and Pennsylvania
Hail road.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Corpo-
rations.
Mr. Harig presented the petition of L. F. Beeler, Agent of
"the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, and one hundred and
thirty employees of paid road against the repeal of the character of the Broadways and Locust Point Steam Ferry.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Cor-porations,
Mr. Charles R. Hamilton presented the petition of W. W.
Johnson, John W. Clark and one hundred and twenty others
interested in the continuance of the Broadway way and Locust
Point' Steam Ferry, against the repeal of the charter for said
Ferry.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Cor-
porations.
Mr. L. A. J. Lamotte presented the petition of Zebediah
Parrish, soldier of the war of 1812, asking to be restored to
the pension rolls.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.
Mr. Sasscer presented the petition of T. T. S. Bowie and
thirty-five other citizens of Prince George's county, asking
that the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company be*- subjected
to taxation, and that a law be passed requiring the said com-
pany to pay into (lie Treasury the amount decreed by the
'Court to be due the State.
Which was read. and referred to the Committee on Ways
'and Means.
Mr. Chaisty presented a memorial from the Honorable
Judges of the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City, relating to
the jurisdiction of the Criminal Court of Baltimore City.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.
