The House then proceeded to the consideration of the next order of the day, being The bill, entitled an Act making sundry appropriations for the support of the Government fur the year ending the 1st day of January, 1873. Said bill being upon a second reading, Mr. Stone submitted the following amendment: In section 1, title ".State Officers," line five, strike out the word "two," and insert "three." Which was adopted. Mr. Stone submitted the following amendment: Section 1, title "State Officers," line six, strike out the word "twenty-four" and insert "thirty-six.". Which was adopted. Mr Stone submitted (.he following amendment: Section 1, title "Judiciary," line three, after the word "hundred," insert "dollars." Which was adopted. Mr. Stone submitted the following amendment: Section I, title "Legislative," line three, strike oat the word "two," and insert the word "three." Which was adopted. The bill, as amended, was then read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed fur a third reading.
