JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 8, Said bill being upon a second reading, Mr. Stone submitted the following amendment: Section 1, title "State Officers," line five, strike out the- word "two," and insert the word "three."' Which was adopted. Mr. Stone submitted, the following amendment: Section 1, title "State Officers," line six, strike out the word "twenty-four," and insert "thirty-six." Which was adopted. Mr. Stone submitted the following amendment: Section 1, title "Judiciary," line three, after the word "hundred," insert "dollars." Which was adopted. The bill, so amended, was then read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. On motion of Mr. Streett, (the rules being suspended,) The House proceeded to the consideration of The bill, entitled an Act to authorize and direct the At- torney General to institute proceedings to forfeit the charter of the Baltimore and Harford Turnpike Company. Said bill being upon a third reading, The bill was then read a third time, and passed by yeas and nays as follows :
