execution or attachment directed to the Sheriff of
the county, or renewed by seire facias, as judgments
recovered in the Circuit "Court for said county, for
which the clerk shall be entitled to receive the usual
fees for issuing process from said court; provided,.
that this Act shall not apply to judgments in -which
appeals may be entered.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take:
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 449.
AN ACT to repeal section eight of an Act passed sit
January session, eighteen hundred and seventy,
chapter three hundred and twenty-five, entitled "An
Act to amend article eighty-one of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws, entitled 'Revenue and Taxes,' "
by adding sub-sections five, six, seven, and eight
to section twenty-four of article eighty-one, and
relating to the appointment of collectors and col-
lection of taxes, so far as said section eight relates
to Washington county, and to extend the provi-
sions of the said Act of eighteen hundred and
seventy, chapter three hundred and twenty-five, to
Washington county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section eight of the Act passed at
January session, eighteen hundred and seventy,
chapter three hundred and twenty-five, entitled "An
Act to amend article eighty-one of the Code of
Public General Laws, entitled 'Revenue and Taxes,'"
by adding sub-sections five, six, seven and eight to
section thirty-four of article eighty-one, and relating
to the appointment of collectors and collection
