CHAPTER 446.
AN" ACT to declare the sanction of the General
Assembly of Maryland to the bequest of James
F. Williams, late of Wicomico county, deceased,
to the Trustees of the Protestant Episcopal Church
in Salisbury, in said county.
WHEREAS, James F. Williams, late of Wicomico
county, deceased, by his last will and testament, duly
admitted to probate in the Orphan's Court for Wi-
comico county, on the ninth day of March, in the
year one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two,
bequeathed to the Trustees of the Protestant Episco-
pal Church in Salisbury, in said county of Wicomico,
the same being called and known by the name of a
Board of Vestrymen of Spring Hill Parish, in said
county, the sum of three hundred dollars for the
use and benefit of said church; therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the sanction and consent of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland be and the same is hereby
given to the said bequest.
SEC. 2. And he if enacted. That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 447.
AN ACT to amend section forty of article twenty-
three of the Acts of eighteen hundred and sixty-
eight, title " Worcester county," sub-title " Elec-
tions," by changing the name of ".Sandy Hill
District, number eight," to the name of " Stock-
ton District, number eight.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section forty of article twenty-three
